Pratapadityanagar Gram Panchayat, a part of Sundarban Delta, is one of the largest and populated Gram Panchayats of Kakdwip Block under Kakdwip Sub-division having a population of 32949. This is a semi-urban Gram Panchayat covering 43.35 sq. km. area, comprising with 21 Gram Sansads. River Kalnagini encloses this Gram Panchayat by three sides.
